Description
Sauleda Masacril Force Special is a high performance newly developed canopy fabric in 100% spun-dyed acrylic mainly used for marine applications.
Its benefits come from a reinforced structure combining Masacril fibres with a strong monofilament core in the weft. The fabric becomes very strong and increases the tensile strength of the weft by as much as 30%.
The fabric undergoes a calendering process (the fabric is pressed through two rollers) which minimises white creases.
As the coating is pressed into the canvas during the calendaring process, the water column also increases and the canvas becomes smoother and flatter. This results in a canvas that mould and mildew find much more difficult to adhere to.
